Description

This slow-release dry OMRI Listed Crab Meal is a superb source of organic nutrients, including nitrogen, phosphorous and calcium. A byproduct of the Pacific Northwest crab harvest, Down To Earth Crab Meal, 4-3-0 is derived from Dungeness crab shells that are air-dried at low heat and crushed for uniformity. The high level of chitin in this product increases plants’ cell wall strength and encourages populations of beneficial soil microorganisms to release enzymes that help control pest nematode populations.
